Under construction. We build out a city at 300 guys. Closest right now: Austin, TX, 2 of 300.

Find your crew. Do fun shit.

Everyone's at work, at the gym, or at home. Touch grass with your crew.

Crewd finds you guys nearby to lift, hike, wrench on a car, spar, grill, or stand around a tailgate talking shit. Pick a plan, show up, and keep the guys you'd hang with again.

  • Free to show up
  • Flakers sit out
  • Creeps get kicked out
The Plans screen in Austin: a Wednesday pickup game, Saturday loops at the Veloway and a brisket grill-out coming up, with plans for tomorrow below.

How it works

Real screens from the app. The guys are made up. The plans aren't far off.

  1. Say you're in.

Somebody posts a plan: two loops at the Veloway Saturday at 7:30, coffee after. You see who's hosting, how often he shows up, and what to bring. Tap I'm in.

A plan for Saturday Veloway loops at 7:30 AM, hosted by Marcus, who shows up 100% of the time. It says two loops at a no-drop pace, then coffee, and lists what to bring.
  2. Sort it out on the board.

Only the guys who are in see the plan's board. Where to meet, who's running late, is 18 mph okay. No group chat with eight strangers.

The board on a ride plan: a pinned post from the host about where to meet, a question about the pace, and a reply saying they regroup at the top of the hill.
  3. Keep the good ones.

Ride with the same guys a few Saturdays and make it a crew. Small, private, and only guys you've actually met. The crew posts its own plans.

Dawn Patrol, a crew of six: Saturday miles before Austin wakes up. Each member shows his show-up rate.

Shoulder to shoulder, not face to face.

“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”

Proverbs 27:17

Real strength is forged side by side with guys who push you.

The best guy friendships go like this: you've known him five years and you have no idea when his birthday is. That's fine. Nobody needs your life story. They need you at the lot at 9.

  • Not therapy.
  • Not a date.
  • Not an audition.

You don't need to click with anyone yet. You both need to want to fix that carburetor.

House rules

  1. Whatever you do, don't be an asshole. That's the big one, and it covers whatever the rest forgot. Crude is fine. Mean isn't. Give each other shit, not grief.
  2. Show up when you say you will. Flaking is the next worst thing. Stand by your word. Be a man.
  3. No selling. Your crypto, your MLM, your cousin's insurance. Leave it in the truck.
  4. Tap means stop. On the mat and everywhere else.
  5. Put a damn face on it. A real photo of your actual face. You're meeting in real life.
  6. Take it to the group chat. If your crew moves to WhatsApp, good. That was the point.

The time-out corner.

Anyone can report anyone, with a reason. The guys keep the place decent, and we back them up.

Flake too often and you sit out for a couple of weeks, up to a month. Pitch your MLM and you drop in the rankings and sit out too.

Creeps don't get a time-out. They get kicked out.

See you at the lot.

Nothing to download. Get on the list, bring your guys, and we'll open your city.
